Background

This full-service hotel offers 226 guest rooms across seven floors, along with multiple meeting rooms and a rooftop pool, plus an amenities deck for guests to enjoy. This project consists of approximately 140,000 sq. ft. of 2-hour fire-rated 8 and 10-inch hollow core plank and precast stairs distributed over 6 levels.

An outstanding success story for the Tampa Bay region is the construction of the Aloft Element Midtown Tampa. The sleek and contemporary hotel is situated in the center of the city and is expected to attract a large number of leisure and business visitors.  The building has a sleek, modern style with an abundance of natural light coming in via its glass exterior. This seven-story hotel has 226 opulent guest rooms spread over 2 floors. It is the ideal choice for any traveler, with ample conference space, a rooftop pool with stunning views, and a deck full of amenities.

Additionally, the hotel is ideally situated among restaurants, retail establishments, and other entertainment locations.  Coreslab offered a variety of precast concrete solutions for the Aloft Element Midtown Tampa building. Precast walls, stair treads, columns, and beams were among the precast components they provided. By offering a robust, long-lasting, and aesthetically pleasing structural system, Coreslab’s solutions allowed the Aloft Element Midtown Tampa building project to remain on schedule and within budget.

The architects were also able to include distinctive design aspects that enhanced the building’s visual appeal thanks to their precast solutions.
